Today I started Ramadan, the Muslim fasting tradition. No I'm not Muslim and tbh I think I'll only do it for today but I have a few Muslim friends, one is Egyptian actually and she's moving on Saturday to go back to Egypt for uni :( Basically it's all to do with her dad cos he caught her talking to guys etc, it's absolutely shit for her, she isn't really religious, but he's now making her wear her head scarf (hijab) and pray all the time! Little does he know that when she has prepare for praying she just runs the tap in the bathroom and just sits there etc. :/ So yeah we were talking about Ramadan and she asked me if I would do the first day with her, so that's what I've done :)
Been fasting, no food or drink since 1.23am and I can officially eat at 9.35pm tonight. Only another roughly 7 hours to go yaaay! I was thinking of doing it for longer but as I'm the only one doing it in my house it's tougher. I've decided that once I'm finished, I'm going to start the cabbage soup diet! Heard it's quite good for quick results which is what I need to pick me up and give me some god damn motivation!! :D

I read all through the website and downloaded the free e-book! I think it normally costs but got a lil bargain! I'm ready for this, can't wait to see and feel the results. I think I'll post here after everyday, try keep on track, share my experiences.
